Zum Adler in Dudenhofen

For the last three years we have always been in December for goose meals at the "Gasthaus zum Adler". Every year it was excellent. But Corona wanted to put a spanner in the works in 2020, as with so many other things. But the Paul family and their team have found a great solution for this: The "goose to go". Simply order and collect in good time. The goose comes in one piece, but the cuts are indicated, so cutting is absolutely no problem. All side dishes are added in bowls. For bowls and warming boxes you pay a deposit of 50 euros, which you get back as soon as you have returned everything. As always, the food was delicious. So, despite Corona, we didn't have to miss the annual goose meal. Highly Recommended :)

Just an "Okay" today. We've been back here for a long time. The service, as always, nice, the design of the beer garden a very beautiful sea of ​​flowers. The corona mindfulness is also great. And the food: well! Argentinian rum steak in a small format, unfortunately tough with vegetables that are badly seasoned with cloves (?) For my sensitive belly. The accompaniment's rum steak is sinewy. You didn't really want to know whether everything was "right", as usual! It's also a shame that the ingenious salary card has disappeared; Salad plates are now completely missing from the offer. I hope just a snapshot. Because we need places like the eagle in the region.

A restaurant with tradition and a very good kitchen. The wine selection is a well-considered combination and tailored to the menu. Nice and easy to use. Furniture could be polished up a bit. Price and performance are justified. With us a successful evening that does not allow criticism.

Nice, cozy, lovingly furnished Palatinate pub, also nice to sit outside. Great food. Reserve in time!

Yesterday at 5.30 pm in the restaurant to sit at the ordered table. At the entrance we were laughingly informed that you would not have a conservatory but only a beer garden and it was raining and the place was no place for us free, although the order was in bad weather, please reserve in the local. Something like this has not happened to me until now and we are in many places in the most diverse places to eat. A 🔯 just because it is a nice place Were invited for a birthday dinner and the food was plentiful and really delicious 😋 4.5 stars I would forgive.
